Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you submit a plant order, purchase a plant plan, upload room photos, contact us, or arrange pickup or delivery.
- Contact information, including name, email address, phone number, business name, address or neighborhood, ZIP code, and preferred contact method.
- Order information, including plant names, container sizes, quantities, budget, requested date, fulfillment choice, access notes, and communications.
- Plant-plan information, including room type, light, care preferences, pets, style goals, project notes, and the photographs you upload.
- Transaction information, including payment status, amount, checkout and payment reference numbers, refunds, and the date of payment.
- Basic security and technical information, such as a hashed version of an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and pages requested.
Lucky Plants does not receive or store your full card number, card security code, or bank credentials. Card information is entered directly with the payment processor.
How we use information
We use information to save and review requests, recommend plants and containers, open secure checkout, confirm payment, send request and payment notifications, contact you, prepare estimates, arrange fulfillment, provide customer service, prevent misuse, keep business records, and meet legal obligations.
Room photographs are used to evaluate your space and provide the service you requested. We do not use customer room photographs in advertising, social media, or a public portfolio without separate permission.
Website forms and private photo uploads
Order requests are submitted directly through the website and stored in a private customer-request database. Plant-plan photographs are uploaded to private storage before checkout so the request can be connected to the payment session. A completed plant-plan request is released for review after payment is confirmed.
Photo files are not placed in a public gallery. Access is limited through protected systems and temporary links when needed to review a paid request. Do not upload identification documents, payment cards, medical records, or photographs you do not have permission to share.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers to host the website, store request data and private photographs, process card payments, send email notifications, prevent fraud, and support delivery or customer service. These providers process information for the services they provide and have their own privacy and security terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the business, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a business transfer. Lucky Plants does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Payment processing
The $75 plant-plan payment is processed on a payment provider’s secure checkout page. The provider sends Lucky Plants a payment result and transaction reference so we can match the payment to your request, issue a refund when appropriate, and apply an eligible plant-purchase credit. The provider may use cookies or similar technology for checkout, fraud prevention, and security.
Retention and security
Unpaid or abandoned plant-plan requests and their photographs may be retained for up to 30 days so checkout can be completed or a payment issue can be resolved. Photographs connected to a paid request are normally deleted within 12 months after the service is completed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or a longer period is reasonably needed for a dispute or legal obligation.
Contact, order, payment, tax, and refund records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for business and legal records. We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections, and limited-time photo links, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you provided, or ask us to stop using a room photograph, by emailing luckyplantsla@gmail.com. We may verify your identity and may retain information that is reasonably needed to complete a transaction, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or comply with law.
Lucky Plants does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics on this website. Because the site does not use cross-site behavioral advertising, it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Children and policy changes
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the website, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version.
